Storytime! Had my car on jackstands and saw that the front most spashshield was pushed way up and caught on something. Reached for my flathead and wedged it between the plastic and whatever it was caught on and pried it out. POP as it came down, a steady blue stream of Subaru long life super coolant leaked all over my face and hands. Took another 4 hours to remove the radiator, go to a shop , get it welded, source more Subaru coolant, and put it back all together. All because I wanted to upgrade my sway bars...

I messed up installing my lip too because of drilling. I rushed the last hole and accidentally drilled it through from the bottom through the top. I'm over it now since I'm getting a new bumper because someone backed up into me

You can get a (temporary [read: will break after 3 uses]) heatgun from Harbor Freight for cheap (like $15).

Anyway, my BIY? Tried to do the blackout tail lights DIY on a spare I bought. Ended up dremeling too much. Now, I only have the driver-side tail light left, and I can't get rid of it.

I read somewhere here that leaving the lip out in the sun for a few hours will help it mold to the bumper better.
