Window seal cracking

Anyone experienced cracks along window? I notice the rubber seal around my passenger window is really dry and found 2 long cracks.

Will this be cover under warranty? I bought my car in April 2013.

What other ways to help with this situation? My car is park outside and I do live in Southern California.

One of the last couple in this thread for the FR-S, Maybe? Talk to your dealer.

Mine was covered under warranty earlier this year, and I bought my car September 2012.

I saw the pictures before reading your post. Gotta say my first thought was "Shit, that looks like someone sliced it."

Unless it started out really small and grew... Otherwise it looks like all the surrounding material is fully pliable.

Oh no that's the last thing I wanna hear, the guy ask me to go back on Monday because the master technician is not available and the other technicals are hesitated to replace under warranty. So will depend on master technician's decision.

I know there is a TSB out there to replace the weather strip, perhaps I can print that out and have them replace it with TSB

That looks like a clean cut from a razor blade. You recently had tint done? Yeah, that's not getting covered under any warranty, sorry. Bring it up to the tint shop.

I agree, looks like a cut not a defect. From what I understand it's not too expensive or difficult to buy a new one and replace it yourself. I can't remember the price, but someone said it took less than 15 minutes. Hopefully you can get the tint shop to pay for it. My passenger side is warped, and I would prefer to fix it myself instead of leaving it dealer hands, just sucks they won't give me the new one under warranty.
