you have to depin the wires out of the clip, and re-arrange them.

These tails are super nice. If I didn't paint my stock ones i'd be all over these.

exactly what it reads. You need to remove each wire out of the back of that clip shown, and move them into a different spot.

If you don't know what de-pinning is, just google it.

That is correct. And really it is super easy. Takes just a few minutes to get the pins(wire ends) out of the harness plug, then you just slide the wires into a different spot in the harness plug and you are good to go. I am working on something that should make this a bit more clear as well

Thanks,
Rick

Looks awesome. Once I get my innovate supercharger installed/tuned and my water/meth running I'll be on these. They look so nice and would complete my car's exterior aesthetics. I just ordered $500 in brake pads this morning...I'll have to reload my car fund savings first.

Is it possible to re-pin the tail light harnesses instead? I'd be more comfortable doing the lights so the car's harness stays the same and avoids confusion in the future (ie no need to re-pin back to USDM if switching back to old lights, etc.)

Nice! Really a great way to set off the back of this car. The stock tails leave much to be desired

Sounds good, I will let you know as soon as we get them up

I doubt it, they do not have a DOT stamp on them and they do not have the required reflector to meet U.S. specifications. However they look OEM, so they may not even be questioned. Always play it safe though, just in case

This is a great question that I did not touch on. The Tom's harness/plug has a glue/sealant that you would have to remove first before you could re-pin the harness plug. It is possible, but would take a bit more work to get it done.

Thanks guys!
Rick
