Ive tried to create a few nicknames for my car, and also tried a few of my nicknames with different spelling/adding numbers ect..NOTHING

i was surprised this one wasn't taken already when i was picking mine. it's take now, of course
variations on hachi roku were a bit less common than 'BRZ' variations when i was trying to pick my plate, so there may still be some variations of '86' left, like hachi 6, 8 roku, etc.

So we order online. When I get it, I just put it on the car? How about the sticker? If the cop pull me over, he looks at the old registration with old plate # and the new custom # and get confused?

I ordered mine in the tag office and they gave me the updated registration with the sticker right then and there. Told me I should get my plate in 6-8 weeks (it has been 7 weeks now) and when it comes in, put it on the car and adhere the new sticker to it. Simple as that. As for the cop thing, I believe it should be noted when he pulls up your registration.
