There's a video on YouTube. I think it probably comes down to if you are used to heel toe or not. If not it will be awesome. If you are it will throw you off really badly and piss you off. That's my experience at least and only my .02 so take it for what it's worth, just have to try it and see. Once John gets caught up he can set up custom maps if you want flat foot but not auto blip etc etc.

honestly, i only tried the FFS once and it seemed to do the same for me. I thought it may have been user error, but who knows. I'm not terribly concerned as it is a feature that I don't really see myself using.

oops, i was talking about the FFS feature, not launch control.

Good stuff first. The car sounds and feels amazing, pulling in 2nd gear is crazy fun now. No torque dip, it makes going into 2nd feel so much smoother too. Before just pulling the shift knob into 2nd felt so clumsy.

Bad stuff. I switched between the maps, and tried the extra features. They didn't seem to always work. I dunno maybe its just bad procedure, or something. Maybe its something we can add to the FAQ later, i mean i was just going off of what's been said on the board. No Lift Shift is Pedal all the way down and clutch and shift. The Rev Match is Brake, Clutch, Shift all while over 40mph. I didnt even try launch control. But yeah i prove roughly 50miles through LA today, lots of fun.

Also the final problem i see is that any difference in the gauges on all 4 maps, and close to home my gas gauge just went limp and said i was empty. Which i wasnt i had about 1/4 tank left.

Anyways just putting it up here, i know a lot of people have mentioned it before me. Just putting the known bugs out there so people dont freak out about it, i'm enjoying it nonetheless. I kinda wish i didnt have to take my dog to the vet so i could cruise some more.

Thanks John! Wonderful job on improving an already awesome car.

Mmm are you sure you're doing it right. The confusion for me was that i heard you were supposed to hold down on the CC lever, it's not so much down. It's towards you, until the need jumps to map 1 or whatever its set to, once in that mode you push up until its on the map you want.

So if you're not getting the needle to jump just try holding it down in towards you. I dunno maybe im the only one who misunderstood it.

I was doing it right, just to the wrong tune. Guess I updated to an old map and not the latest. After finally figuring out what I had done wrong, everything, at least at idle, appears to be working fine. So looking forward to testing out auto-blip here shortly. Thanks for the input.
