Are these brake pads meant to last the life of the car!? Do I really drive like that much of an old lady? lol. The rotors are pretty grooved after 60k miles though. I can literally grab the edge of the rotor with my fingernail very easily which makes me wonder how much harder the pads are versus the rotors. Kinda crazy and a first for me.

Is this normal?

Yes. Looks exactly like mine that I replaced this winter also at 60k miles.

It's amazing to me. Toyota invented infinite brake pads

It's a pretty light car and very well balanced, front to back. The front brakes on my GS-R wore out every 40k, I think I went thru 3 sets. I never replaced the back ones.

Conti's on. They don't ride like hockey pucks like RS4.
Booked alignment and installed SPC toe arms.

Rear brakes on my GSR seized before that happened

Bought pads and rotors all around for mine a few months ago. Dug in, saw how little the originals were worn, buttoned everything back up and stacked my parts on the shelf.

Couldn't you have just looked thru the rims?

No. It's bullshit. I hope they fired whoever designed these brakes.

Yes, I'm an old f*ck and need a bit of assistance getting out of my FR-S. My medicare plan gives us $100. OTC stuff for free each quarter. Amazon is now the online supplier. Ordered this: https://www.amazon.com/Valorcielo-Po...08&sr=8-5&th=1
It works.

Almost reasonable prices. Wonder how much for the STI model.

My car got tagged by a seagull on Tuesday. Not a few discrete drops either.
Full on dumpage across the hood and window.

At least the car is washed now. Just in time for the rain.

Checked the gas door and cap after my Tacoma gas cap fell apart (potentially due to attempted gas theft).

AOS install

A couple of months ago, I pick up this Vesus AOS from a member and finally got around putting it in. I doubt my butt dyno will actually feel a difference but it should keep my intake runners and valves clean.

Yeah
I got my e10 socket and it doesn't fit. It fits on the passenger seat because I didn't try to remove them with the wrong tool. Looks like I need to get some really sharp cobalt drill bits and try to drill them out. G.D.M.F. pieces of S.
