I posted here a few months back and still haven't found anybody with the specific setup of 255/35R18 tires on 9.5 +45 offset wheels. I am concerned about the front inner clearance with the liner by the firewall or any suspension arms (not the outer fender lip/sidemarker). I am lowered 1.4" on coilovers with -1.9 degrees of camber in front.

I understand tire model matters for clearance and believe Hankook Ventus V12 would be a safe bet.

Not really "Meaty" but it might help answer your question @switchlanez. I'm on a 255/35 18x9.5 +44 with pretty much the same drop/aligment specs. Tire is a Bridgestone RE970AS.

Got some XXR 527 8.25" 25mm offset. You guys think running 245/40/17 will be too much poke. Since the offset is 25mm all around.

Nice you got them on, looking good man! So I guess you haven't experienced rub at full lock?

Nope. Perfect fitment in my opinion @switchlanez. They're hubcentric too. I LOVE them.

you're not telling us what offset. what tire brand.

i know people running a 285, but they are like a +40ish offset on a 10' wheel.

all depends on offset, tire brand, suspension. just look at what i'm running, and i have plenty of room to go bigger IF someone wanted to.

i think you might be able to get away with that in the front, v12's aren't a bad tire, especially if all you do is street driving, its great for the street. if you track or auto-x you'll hate it.

i have a lot of room in the front, but you will need to run more camber...and forget full lock, i can't go full lock, i have too much tire.
