IMO the Japanese car makers have lost their way on styling. Excepting the twins and the new MX-5 there is not a single Japanese car that I think looks great. The Germans make beautiful looking cars but their reliability is $hit. Maybe the joint projects will eventually lead to some decent cars that blend great styling with good performance and reliability.

It might be the lighting but that looks like ugly as sin chrome accents on the windows. Don't mind the car as a whole but it looks a little too bulbous

I think that the new 2016 Nissan Maxima (eighth generation) is one of the best looking sedans on the market right now next to the Audi A7 and S7 Sportback.

I don't get it: the Civic Type-R is not even out and there is already the next generation Civic?

It looks like a mid or full size car now, not a fan at all.

Next to the pickup in the pic it really doesn't seem to be all that big. Doesn't look that much bigger then a FRS really. Of course it is a 4 door and all though.

The silhouette looks good but what the heck is up with that beak? Lexus, Acura, Honda, Nissan and the rest of the Japanese designers must send their design students to horror school. UGH!

That's true, the overall physical size looks about the same as the current gen Civic but the proportions are unflattering. Kind of reminds me of an Accord or other mid-size Japanese car.

Type R is supposed to be a sort of farewell to the current gen euro civic. This next gen civic will be a global model (no more JDM, Euro and U.S. Civic). Not to mention, this is still a test model. Should go on sale soon though. But notice that they said the Type-R based on the new gen will come later, not right away.

still looks like an old saturn. The US will never get the Type R. Honda isn't smart enough for that.

Not smart enough to sell a car that all the internet fanbois say they want but nobody will actually pony up the cash for?
