My apologies! I clearly did not read.

1101 is a Universal Adapter Kit that you will have to tighten with wingnuts and such, but should work fine once you've done that. This is what Motive itself suggests.

The universal adapters work fine, I use the round one on the master cylinder. Just make sure you test for a good seal by pressurizing the bleeder without fluid first.

A little tip for anyone using one of these: You can do this without putting the brake fluid in the bleeder. Just use it to pressurize. You will need to refill the reservoir a few times to fully flush the calipers, but it is far less time consuming to do that compared to cleaning out the whole thing, or risk contamination if the last guy who used it didn't clean it properly.

I came across this thread and ordered the following bleeder from Amazon:

The Model number of the Bleeder is (0107) but on the adapter it says (1107),, It seems like adapter is not compatible and the cap won't stay on the reservoir..(Brakes fluid)

Has anyone else had the same issue?

Do you push down all the way before rotating to get it to seal? The pn sounds correct, check the adapter mounting tabs to make sure they are in good condition.

If you can post a picture of the adapter that may help.

The part numbers are correct. It could be the o-ring being too thick. I think they also supply a thinner o-ring so that you can press the cap down far enough to twist and lock.

I am not sure I tried without the o-ring but still no luck..
Would you be able to take a picture of the adapter with and without o-ring?

There is also a 0117 kit. It has a metal cap versus the plastic cap. I've emailed Motive regarding the differences and the metal cap unit is supposed to be better and if you plan to bleed more frequently then occasionally, it's the way to go.

Myself, we have a track car and hope to be adding a second to the stable soon. We try to bleed brakes after each track day and will do a full flush once a year (at least). I'm leaning towards the 0117.

I've been using the dry method for some time and find it way easier to do. The brass coupling was the source of leaks, so I cut it off and replaced it with a quick disconnect couplings.
