This weekend's autocross, first with the 3.73
Got up to about peak of about 55-57 for a quick second, this course was lacking any good straights, but was pretty smooth, I struggled to keep speed at the last corner before the finish. Had a great driver ride along with me and pointed out that I need to work on scanning ahead better, and turning in sooner. Took 1st for SM class.

I'll be a booth car for WiringSpecialities at LS-Fest East in September if anyone wants to find me/the car.

Got AC installed. It worked until I floored it and it threw the belt.

I'll detail the wiring to make it work later.

Thats awesome!

Very nice as always sir. Looking forward to a few more pics and details on the ac. Im looking to hook something up soon. I have a Pontiac GTO compressor but haven't checked clearances. What was the cost on the lines? Thanks in advance again your build page is one of the main reasons I was able to make my swap happen.

Found the issue. I think you’re using a 2010+ slave. I’m using a 2002 camaro which uses a different type of adapter. :/

My slave cylinder and quick connect are original to a 2004-2006 GTO.

do you have any pictures your slave? Is the adapter getting put in the slave itself? It wouldn't fit onto my slave after pushing out the pin and taking the oem adapter off.

Actually if you are using the OEM gto hard lines that connects to the slave and attaches to the exterior of the trans, that's the difference. The Camaro and every other slave doesn't have that little hardline adapter.

Here it is, I pivoted the hardline forward from its original rear-facing direction, and inserted the adapter:

Updated my first post with changing my AC mount parts.

I threw out the Dirty Dingo AC mount.

After spending many hours myself, and hundreds and hundreds of dollars of getting an AC specialist trying to get it to align and keep the belt on, and work right.

I found Holley made an cast aluminum mount (part #20-159) for the same sanden small AC compressor. Put that on and had ZERO problems since.

Right now the FRS in the body shop getting a new front bumper and side skirts, and most of the body resprayed because I'm a bit picky. I just ordered a VERUS front splitter and rear diffuser. Prepping for running NCM road course here September 7-8 during LS fest.

Some exciting bits-
Talking with Pete and Dave sounds like Speed.Academy might do a special on the car at Toronto Motorsports Park, Apex Race Parts is using it for promotional work, and a photo/video crew is doing an interview with me about it later next month. Its getting pretty popular.

The GTO compressor I had sat too far forward for my liking, it's clutch sat infront of the pulley vs the Mini Sanden is flush, it wouldnt clear the lower rad support.
