If you are a track day or autox novice, $200 towards the a driving school such as SCCA Starting Line will increase your performance more than anything else.

You don't need any mods to get started in autox or track days, and you really shouldn't make any "performance" mods to your car until you have seat time. Modding first could upset the very beginner-friendly nature of our cars, which will hinder learning. Mods could bump your car up several classes in autox, rendering it noncompetitive (and thus less fun). Modding first will prevent you from experiencing how these cars behave stock (which is their best trait), and how each change affects handling.

After you have gone to a performance driving school, attend autox or track day events until you wear out the Primacy tires. Now it is time for some real mods:
- Max performance summer tires (such as Michelin Pilot Super Sports) in OEM size 215/45R17.
- High performance brake pads and fluid (more important for track than autox)

By the time you wear out these new tires, you will have a good idea what you are doing. You will have caught the performance driving bug, and made a bunch of new friends who you will learn with. Then you can get on forums and tell people not to mod their cars until they have seat time.

Bash the cat out of the header, OFT stage 2 EL tune flashed from a laptop, $75 used track pipe, subframe lockout and trans insert bushings, ($50 ish?) some used Swift/RCE/Eibach springs. Should be a bit over $200. Add camber/crash bolts up front and a good alignment.

That's IF you will only ever spend $200 on like a $12k used '13 FRS and just want some cheap fun.
