Spilled bottle of gin in the back seat

I had an unopened fifth of gin in my back seat in hot weather. Im guessing some time within the last week, the top popped off and all of the contents poured out. I did not notice it until earlier today.

I don't see any stains or smell anything. Is this something I should worry about?

Whoops lol. If it's straight gin, there's no sugar content... I assume that you will see a stain at some time, if there is no sign of spillage I guess you could just let it go...

I had a bottle of G2 leak on me one once, not much but the last time I put any bottled drinks on my seats even when closed. Left no stains on the alcantara after soaking it up and a quick wipe.

I dunno about interactions with the cloth but when I had my Camaro I left a 40 oz in the trunk (hatchback) during summer (95+ F). It literally exploded, one of the strongest and worst smells ever.

Rented a rug doctor and it completely cleared up any spills and smells. No stains afterwards.

You sure no one polished off your gin and then left the empty on your seat? It's hard to believe you can't smell anything. I'd think your car would at least have some smell of juniper. Glad to hear that there are no stains.

This is a good lesson to all of us not to leave bottles filled with liquids in our cars during hot sunny weather.

Spilled bottle of gin in the back seat

Don't leave red bulls underneath the seats guys, guess I dropped one under my drivers seat and I reclined it and ended bursting without even knowing it. I think I was until the next day I had one of the worst irritable and funky smells for about 2 weeks, cleaned and febreezed!

A couple of times I had a diet soda can explode in my Supra from the heat.

I thought it "just went away". The bummer was: EVERY TIME it got hot again, I would have a thin film of crap (assuming nutrasweet) collect on the insdie of my windshield.
PITA!

Nothing to worry about

Nothing to worry about at all bro. You can get a replacement for that bottle of Gin at any decent liquor store. I highly recommend Bombay Saphire. A Bottle of that, and a couple of cans of lime Spike or Red Bull, you've got yourself a party!

But seriously, I once had a growler of ale pop open emptying it's contents all over the backseat of my Stealth. OMG did that stink. I ended up having to remove the entire seat from the car, shampooing it repeatedly and dowsing with a bottle of Fabreeze.
