Absolutely. It's the horn equivalent of this:

So you're saying that your horn is better at providing ground support than an F-35?

Oh, buurrrnn!!! I too, question the F-35's ability to properly replace the A-10's very specialized role

The US military has always had “specialized roles” that get outdated due to safety of the pilots.

For example we attacked Iranian oil rigs with Cobra helicopters literally just hovering there shooting their cannons against small arms fire. Now that even poor countries have AA 80s/90s weapons (thanks to Russia) we can’t do slow speed gun ship runs like the Cobra or A10.

The F35 won’t shoot 30mm auto cannon rounds, but it will drop bombs from thousands of feet in the air with little to no risk to the pilot.

No big gun; no care. We need at least ONE flying Gatling gun in our arsenal at all times. And the AC130 doesn't count.

If I hear that horn I'm not looking for the little blue car, I'm looking for a train or a brodozer.

You should lay on that the second the light turns green, it'll be fun I promise.

I do like the fact that nobody will ever suspect it was me, lol. Is it sad that I'm tempted to get a vented hood just to make them even louder? Lol. Too bad I just learned how much this one costs, as it's the only vented hood I think truly looks good.

Yeah I agree, hopefully with a top speed higher than a P51.

Although all new jets seem like they have retractable weapon bays, so unless the Air Force goes full “Zoids” I don’t think we’ll get the retractable cannon.

Just go hoodless.

Can’t have under hood pressure if there is no hood.

Horns on top of the engine? There goes that low center of gravity.
