I really really really hope that those wheels will be an option in the US.

Is this the first time they have been pictured? Does anyone have any information on the width or specs?

The more power the more grip you'll need, downforce helps push the car down which increases grip.
This car N/A doesn't really require a massive spoiler to get grip, if it was turbo and making 300+whp the spoiler would help.

What about a high speed sweeper? I think the spoiler is just as justified on an NA car as on a turbo car. The spoiler does an un-appreciable amount of work below 50 MPH, so really offers no benefit for either scenario. At higher speeds, the only way this car is going to be pushing the limits of the tires is on a high speed turn, unless of course you are talking about 500 whp drags cars, etc.

The turbo car is going to be pushing the physical limits of a tire, at speeds that a spoiler counts, just the same as an NA car. They will both be able to exceed the limit of the tire by simply changing the approach and speed in the turn. It is the longitudinal forces that exceed grip at speed during a turn, not the lateral.

Whats up Carlos, good to see more nc.org folks over here, especially dmv guys.

Idk I love this kit wing included. But, the more I look at the greddy frs the more I appreciate the understated subtle look.

^^^^ wassup man, yeah really exicted about this one, dealer called and ask me to come in and leave a deposit and said they are expecting the cars early February, idk if I'll get the kit off the bat but I'm going to tell them to give me everything the 86 comes with, and if price is over 24k I'll be going subie if they start at 24k... Will see I gotta go see them tomorrow, still not sure about color.... Probably stay blue since its my fav color, But I do like the red.

No way is that wheel 7" wide.

Also it's a yokohama tyre- the factory tyres are Michelin Primacy. However Yokohama usually makes the tyres for space saver wheels in japan- my MR2 had a Yoko spacesaver.
Full size spare means diameter not width (some cars do include full size spares that match oem wheels and tires but that's not always the case). It looks full size to me.

You guys will be happy if it's full size the first time you have a flat in the rear.

Also under hard braking the rear wing's downforce can help keep the rear settled. This is all assuming it's functional and not just for looks.

They aren't cashing it so it doesn't bother me, as long as I get the first one they get with the options I want I'll be happy.
