Shouldn't that rust be covered under warranty?

was this short lived? I had the same issue with my wife's but after a few start/stops it was better. A few of the Subaru's do this after resetting the ecu/flash for the first bit, I'm only guessing its a ecu learning kinda thing

AC in texas
Does anyone have problem with AC blowing hot air in Texas after idling for while or stop and go traffic for too long?
I have the FBM radiator fan + shroud. The ambient temp was ususally about 97F+; however, same temp in a garage does not see problem like this. Is this something a tune can fix? |

Nope. The only way to fix it would probably be to add a pusher fan to the A/C condenser. I had the same issue. I just accepted it.

You are asking more of the system than it is designed for. Anything over 95deg F ambient air temp is outside the range of efficiency.

Did some re-running of vacuum lines and hoses last night, as well as installed a vacuum distribution block, an ATP Turbo-Tap, and ran the top vent of my AOS to another silicone coupling. Anyone have any negative feedback on any of these? Not sure how well the Turbo-Tap will hold up (for now it works great), or if venting my AOS into the air intake will draw up oil into the turbo.

Drove the car up there and used his vacuum tester found out that it was the FBM intake pipe was leaking like a bitch where the MAF sensor mounts. Issues 1. the tapped holes to mount the MAF sensor are drilled straight into the intake pipe with leaks through both screw threads. 2. The MAF plate is far from level causing leaks past the O ring I thinking of just throwing the intake pipe away or at least cutting it up and mounting a decent MAF sensor mounting plate that isn't uneven and drilled through |

a minor question, how do you guys deal with the overwhelming EWG noise on the daily basis? Would re-routing the wastegate dump tube back into downpipe decrease the noise significantly?
