Hi Bros,

Meron ba kayong alam marunong gumawa o mag-assess ng pang-ilalim ng 86 natin. My 86 have this knocking sound pag uneven surface yung dinadaanan ko. Nararamdaman ko sa steering yung pag knock.

Pinalitan na ng Toyota yung rack and pinion and intermediate bushing pero andun pa din yung knocking sound. Next na papalitan nila steering column.

Ang problem every time may pinapalitan sila may ibang sira na lumalabas. The first time nag karoon ng clicking sound sa steering wheel pag pinipihit ko. Ngayon naman 2nd dala ko sa kanila nadagdagan ng ringing sound at off center na steering.

Nahuli ko pa tinutulugan ng 3 mekaniko yung 86 ko naka-aircon sila sa loob.

Bad trip yun ah. Care to share which dealer it was? Our cars are fairly new, so even the techs sa casa hindi nila alam ayusin. You have a choice, go to a trusted shop to fix it, or change casas.

@KenichiS, tama sabi ni Tye, yun lang, you'll have to shoulder expenses already.. regarding sa knocking sound pag nalulubak, i experienced that too pero di ko na lang pinapansin, i changed to lowering springs and rims/tires na ren kasi.. now with coilovers, parang nawala na siya since di ko na napapansin

for shops, you can have it checked in a couple of shops that has worked with our cars.. Fixstop in QC, Autoplus in GH, Bridgestone in Alabang

@Ny Brz, get in touch with @Bl1tzkr1eg, he's our current club president

I might be going with my roommate to Manila. I am looking to do a track day at Clark international raceway in a borrowed civic. Anyone have any idea how the track handled the recent weather? The track looks awesome from the photos I have seen but has anyone run there to know how the surface is? My friend is from Pagadian (sorry if I spelled that wrong) so he has never been to this track.

Track is great in the dry and fishtail happy in the rain. It rains there almost every day in an unpredictable time.

Well my friend also has an r34 gt-r but knowing the price of cars there I thought it was best to just use the civic. With you knowing the surface think I should just bring the gt-r encase it decides to rain or just stick with the civic? Sorry for all the questions when I ran at batangas on my last trip the weather was perfect and the civic was great with the wider turns there.

CIS has a better surface than BRC. It has some elevation changes, but turns are mostly flat with few off camber corners. I think you will enjoy it more with the civic. If you ran BRC already, you know that that track is bumpy and technical, and mostly run at medium speeds. Clark is really well paved and has more high speed turns and more runoff areas too.

Bro, it's Toyota Shaw.

I'm doing research and in other international forums, this issue is known. Althoughhindi ko pa makita yung cause and how to fix it.
