Damn, should I have gone. I spend all day fighting off people hacking my vBulletin site instead... was less fun than the shootout.

I would have been there!! Damn!

But I was at Chicagoland Speedway for the NASCAR weekend. Down in the pits/garage area with the 'Hot Pass' is the only way to go!!

Travis Pastrana after qualifying

Jeff Gordon walking thru the pits

Kyle Busch during one of the pit stops after the rain delay on Sunday night

That was a weekend for the Bucket List

Hopefully next year I can make it out to Byron. My grandparents live in Byron and I used to go to the track and watch my Grandpa race his 442

I will be relocating to madison in a couple of weeks. I'm curious about the drivability of the frs in the snow. are winter tires required? any advice for the preparation for the winter?

Snow tires are more than required but made the car damn fun to drive and very capable in the snow.

Welcome to the Madison Area in advance. Yes, Snow tires are a must. I have 2 sets specifically for summer and winter. Just if there is too much snow on the road, don't be surprised if your snow plowing a bit. This car is only limited by its driver in the snow.

Also, our plowing tends to suck around here on heavy snow days.

Side note: If you are looking for a good Toyota dealer up here, go to Smart Motors on the west side.

Thank you for the info!
definitely getting a set of winter tires soon.
Anyone have the underbody coating done on their fr-s?
Can you recommend a place to get this done?

Thank you in advance.

I have not personally had mine undercoated, and I cant think of any customers who have had the undercoating done offhand. I wouldent be overly concerned w having it done.

I also have not had mine undercoated. I just take it to the car wash once a week and keep the salt off as much as possible... though it looks like this car gets this winter off for me... go go mods
