'13-'16 BRZ/FR-S/GT86 have Sport Mode. '17+ BRZ/GT86 have Track Mode.

This is a visual representation of the difference as pulled from an internal document someone leaked about the changes in 2017 (Thanks @Tcoat): https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...64&postcount=3

Does anyone know the part numbers for the 2017+ MT track mode buttons? I can't find them.

FYI I have a lead on 17-19 ABS modules. If anyone wants, I'll pick up the next one for anyone looking here. My salvage guy seems to get a "brand new" totalled 86/brz to part out every week. A lot of dumbasses drive this car. (myself included)

It's cheap, and by popular myth, good for drifting. No wonder many can afford it and try to show off past ones skills with obvious result. Though it makes good source of used parts, it also drives insurance costs up for rest of us

Ok, guarantee on having track mode. Hopefully someone can post part number or markings to compare.

To be sure, since I'm not sure if the AT is different than the MT, an ABS assembly with the code # ...CA060 inscribed on the pump off a 17-up Manual BRZ FRS will definitely work. Since we're the first to find out this conversion, the price and availability is reasonable. Once people catch on, i cannot be so sure they'll be easy to find or for a fair price like we can find now.

I am down to buy one too, the listings on ebay don't seem to understand that there is a difference between model years.

a lot less "action" since the lockdown, but I'll give a heads up as soon as they become available. You got 3rd dibs and blown has the 2nd one.

You;ll have to make them take a pic of the inscribed number on the pump, and the the part number on the electronic module. And if they can verify by vin number the year and model of the car along with the "CA060" or newer on the pump, I think you're good to go. Dont hesitate to buy if you can confirm and if the price is good.

Thanks.

So weird discovery here.

My unit is a CA040, suggesting it came after your CA030.

Except it wasn’t, it’s 4 months older:

I just ordered a module from a 2019 TRD, let’s hope that does it.

A friend of mine got a good result with a 040 unit on 14MY. 040 is not a problem I guess.
