I did some track day prep last weekend. Oil change, brake fluid flush to DOT 4, clutch fluid flush, installed camber bolts, and practiced taking the pads and rotors on/off. It's a bit too early to put the track pads on, so I just went through the motions to get familiar with it.
I had to break the rotors loose using the two M8 bolt method. That method ended up being a lot easier than I expected.

Is there really nowhere to park except under your neighbor’s tree? Why would using a car cover make you a tool and why do you care even if somebody thought that?

Yes! I’ve literally tried every spot in my driveway lol we have a two car port thing that my parents use, but I’ve been parking there when they’re gone lol I just wouldn’t do it

i had a car cover for a little while for a different car for a similar reason. i stopped using it because it was a pain to be installing/removing. and after trying to take the cover off after an ice storm, i/it put some massive scratches in the hood.

a few commentors on jalopnik here and there also say they've had issues with curious george types removing half the covers to see what's underneath, and not putting it back.

seriously, consider having the car ceramic coated. it'll last up to a year just by itself, and adding a layer of carnuba wax on top of that as a sacrificial layer every couple months, and it should almost totally eliminate the problems you're having, besides the dents of course.

Yeah I bet it would be a pain to put on and remove. Especially if I’m ever running late. Plus I like looking outside and seeing her lol I’ve heard about some of them leaving scratches too.

Seriously? Man I’ve really got to do it. Once a year is not too bad. Asked on here for a shop that would do it, but no luck. Not too worried about the dents. They’re more like little pits that you can only see at certain angles. I’d really like to start throwing some mods on it, but I really want a touch up and ceramic coat first. Thanks for the info

Took my BRZ in for an oil change, recall for back up camera/Nav system and to get that annoying clunk sound fixed. (metal bang sound from fire wall, under hood area)
Service Tech: Why'd you replace the springs?
Me: I didn't!
Service Tech: So you bought it used?
Me: NO! That's the way it comes, FROM THE FACTORY!
Service Tech: It does?
Me: Yes.
Service Tech: Oh... Well they made a lot of noise when I raised the car up and then again when I brought it back down.
Me: Did you fix that clunk sound under the hood?
Service Tech: Ya I adjusted the hood.
Drove the car around the block and it's still there so it's booked in again for a week this Monday.

What rotors did ya go with? Looks like you also have some spacers there...

A few years ago I had a company car which developed an annoying clunking sound when turning (not persistent).. it was coming from passenger side of the car. As it was intermittent I would forget about it, anyway it turned out to be my wife's bottle of hairspray that she had placed under the passenger seat....

Last month I had a bag of 50 golf balls open up in the back of my car. With the seat down! I have accounted for 45 of them. Will probably be chasing weird clunks for weeks yet. I ‘m sure those things can get through spaces half the size of the ball. Why can’t I get them into the holes they are meant for?

50 golf balls.. could be put to good use in the right hands.. takes me back to a trip to Bangkok...

'One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster
The bars are temples but the pearls ain't free
You'll find a god in every golden cloister
And if you're lucky then the god's a she
I can feel an angel sliding up to me'...
