I emailed a dealership about a bike they had for sale, and since my current bike has a rebuilt title, I inquired about whether or not they accept R-titled bikes as trade-ins. The salesperson's response was "WHAT IS R TITLE"

Am I wrong for assuming that a dealership would know "R title" means Rebuilt?

Doesn't surprise me all that much. I worked at a dealership in the early 2000s where someone was trading in a Chrysler TC with an r title. It wasn't until after the guy left the dealership that the GM saw the title, called it out, and sent the sales rep after him. Which means the title had gotten past the sales rep, the sales manager, and even the dealership buyer before getting to that point.

Indeed! Be there for every moment no matter what it involves, even if it's typing on a stupid car forum.

I have like 4 different types and brands of sprinkler. The biggest ones are the pop-up rainbird. I hate working on sprinklers. So far I have replaced about a dozen heads on the smaller ones, and taken apart about half a dozen of the rainbirds that weren't working just because they were so full of gunk.

My youngest got his Idaho learners permit the other day. We went out driving this morning out on the country roads. He needs a lot of practice. He is terrified of driving in traffic.

More importantly are you terrified of riding with him in traffic?

I need to do this, and am dreading it. We don't need to use our sprinklers often, in fact I don't think they've run in about 4 years. I'm relatively sure most of them don't work at this point.

When we do need them though, we need them and it's been hot the last few weeks here.

So I have these metal covers in my house, a bit bigger than a electrical outlet. There are 4 in The house, and one in the garage. So I take a couple of the covers off to see what they are. I still had no idea, so I ask my HVAC guy if he knows. End up my house is plumbed and wired for a central vacuum system. Cool. Now I know what my wife is getting for Valentine's day!

A word of advice, spend $20 and get the right tools. Makes working on sprinklers so much easier.
