Meet started dying when all the drama happened. After the drama died down, someone who claimed to be one of the founders of the irvine meet used some pretty vulgar language to cuss at a member and call him out on this post lol. All the mods delete the posts and banned the member.

We no longer officially have the meet. We stopped essentially for two reasons: we had some issues with Irvine PD due to the other groups starting to cause problems (peeling out of DJ, setting off car alarms, etc.). None of this came from the FRS/BRZ people (as far as I know), and we've talked to Irvine PD a couple times, but we thought it safe to just not put ourselves in that position. The other part is, the people who were originally running it, myself included, started new jobs, etc. Jason, for example, started working in Torrance, another now works in LA, and we just don't have the time to organize anymore. You guys are welcome to take over and try to set up a new meet in its place.

Was one of the OG guys from Irvine when we used to do it at Boomers old parking lot. Thought about maybe taking it back there cause they have food trucks there and a lot of empty parking spaces. plus its a very melo place and area. I stopped going for awhile due to school and my mother wanted me to fill in for her bowling league when my dad got sick. Idk maybe someone else has some ideas

I think we should start again somewhere. I was absent due to getting married, honeymoon, and work... but I remember meeting some truly good people...

I'd be down to help organize. Boomers sounds like a good idea. Still, the thought of moving it out of Irvine crosses the mind though cause Irvine PD doesn't seem to have enough to do but write tint tickets.

Other more hardcore PD are Yorba Linda, Tustin, Huntington Beach and most of South O.C.

Perhaps the O.C. Fairgrounds on Wednesday evening. There are food trucks from 5:30-9:00, tons of free parking, benches and places to chit chat. Downside is that it's across the street from the Costa Mesa PD. However they're more accustomed to events so they might not care at all.

It looks as if this meet is about to move, but has yet to be decided on a location and time, so for now is anyone planning on going to the original spot tonight? I will be there... at least to get some food...

Wanted to see if anyone wants to give it a try and meet up at boomers this Tuesday night? Was not able to scout out the area to see if they still have foods trucks there on that night. Figure maybe get something started and we can all meet every other week or something.

Do they still do the meets in DJ? Kind of want to get back into the swing of things and maybe find something new and start all over again. I have not been to DJ since the whole things when i heard police where going over there. Dont want to be a leader or anything just liked to hang out talk to ppl about the car and bs about other things.
