1. DMV does send inspectors to lots. Mostly to make sure we have the titles to the vehicles that we are selling.
2. They probably wanted to hit a monthly quota which is why they wanted a 30th of Nov delivery.
3. HOWEVER, depending on their corporate policy, there may be some sliver of truth behind the facade. Our corporate office frowns on deals that are left open past the end of the month. By the end of the month every deal should be "turned" and funded.

lol guys I'm not tripping this dealerships policy is amazing, you can return the car within 3 days if I'm not satisfied. Buying the car isn't the problem, I want the car. Just trying to figure out what happen, I'll call them later around 10:30 and all this will be clear to everyone.

OP sounds like they are fifteen. And they've got 2 threads posted within a day of each other on this same subject.
Seems legit.

Which makes sense, but doesn't explain how that fits into OP's situation, unless said dealer doesn't have title and they want the car gone now. But how can they sell without title?

This is what I believe the situation is.

Again, sounds fine, but does said corporate policy include misrepresenting the situation as a DMV issue? Also, is this even a deal yet? No down payment or bill of sale was executed if we are to believe OP.

Alright bottom line is, the sales person was the one trying to hit quota for himself. I spoke to the manager of the store instead and she said "You wanna pay and pick up on the car on Dec 7th? No Problem." The extra 1k was interest charge that shows you this is the total amount you would pay if you follow the 5 year payment plan.

Take on even more meaning if he was picking up a Mitsubishi on December 7!

Technically (legally) no. He has to take physical delivery of the car to legally own it.

Until he gets in the vehicle and drives it off the property he can back out.
