Adam, I don't have a problem with you but you're not really making a good case for yourself here. You're coming across as a kid trying to mingle with the adults which is fine, but then you should at least act like one and not be surprised if you get treated like a kid when you don't.

These videos should help you make your decision Adam. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8mF9vRsv7s"]Toyota 86 V/S BMW 120i, Mazda Roadster, VW Scirocco [OFFICIAL VIDEO] - YouTube[/ame] - nice comparative test [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qdFB_TGc9E"]AE86 - YouTube[/ame] - the joys of RWD vs. FWD - eventhough the Honda had more power... Also Car magazine: http://www.carmag.co.za/comparative-...s-vw-polo-gti/ http://www.carmag.co.za/road-tests/toyota-86-high/ Another wildcard worth checking out is the new untested Fiesta ST - could be very good... Look at this thread aswell... 86 vs. the world! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25 Hope this helps... |

Eish...quick one...couldn't resist:
Sold a C32 AMG, my Beast, for the 86. Still turns more heads and hours more fun!!! Polo, seriass-ly? Polo's seem to be reserved for specific profiles of drivers, nothing specific, and just a broad view. 86 brings in great fun and the enjoyment of driving! Yes the robot to robot is nice, but cruising and them seeing the driver is even better :-D

Should have just gone for the K&N. I felt no difference. I took the filter out and took my car in for the software upgrade... Felt a difference immediately as I was driving away from the dealership. The lag in the middle has drastically reduced and it revs much cleaner. I put the filter back and still feels the same. I haven't put the Unichip in yet. A friend of mine put one in his Fortuner and dragged with another friend's Aurus. The fortuner pulled the Aurus from the line and kept on opening the gap. I drove the fortuner with and without the chip. It made a huuuuge difference in power. It also made the car lighter on fuel (if you were to drive it normally). |
