Fitment with rear TRD kit

Hi guys

I'm currently running a resonated 2.5in Perrin catback with custom welded pipes to fit the kit. However, I'm looking to change out the kit as I'm finding it droning too much around the 2.5k - 3k RPM range.

What other kits are available to fit? Or do I need to just change out the exhaust and do the custom welding again?

Thanks in advance.

thats a first to hear that this exhaust drones? by itself, it was barely louder than stock..

maybe you can try the invidia q300, thats really quiet as well

Since you have the rear TRD lip, I would suggest you go with a quad-tip as dual-tip looks kinda weird with the wide openings. The quietest would probably be the TRD exhaust, but that's only an axle-back. The other ones I know of are HKS RX LEGAMAX Sports and Blitz Nur Spec CTI Quad. You won't need custom work to fit for these.

I have the TRD exhaust that came with the car from the dealer - I am looking for an exhaust that doesn't drone either. LOL. I feel that at under load at about 3k, I have a bit more "drone" than I'd care for.

I'm beginning to think I am not going to find the right exhaust. Oh well. The harder it is for me to find the right exhaust, the easier it would be for me to sell later. :p

I have the Blitz Nur Spec CTI Quad. It is definitely one of the quieter exhausts.

When it was just the Blitz Quad + Titanium front pipe it was not loud at all:

After header + overpipe introduced a lot of rasp and quite louder:
