Why do that when the TSB is installed for you for free? My BRZ Nav now tracks my position perfectly.

For those of you having trouble with their navigation systems they may want to try a simple reset of the system before bringing the car into Subaru.

In the TSB link below are some instructions to try

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20659

Goto the section where it says to remove the backup fuse and yank that sucker out for about 5 minutes. You don't have to disconnect the battery cables, just wait 5 minutes slide the fuse back and turn the ignition on. This should re initialize the navigation system.

I was having trouble not seeing any satellites and the system constantly searching for a gps signal and never finding one. Also when I would look at my map it showed me being in Quebec Canada when I live in Boston

Big thanks to archmcarch! His post may be over 4 years old, but his suggestion worked like a charm for me today. My GPS Nav has worked fine since 2012, until it flaked out recently. Now back working.
