Same here. And the haters really should just vent their spleens elsewhere.

Except over the flaming exhaust.... that just has "oh hell no!" written all over it.

Looks like 3/4 people will laugh at you.

Are you going to get enough enjoyment out of this to offset that as well as the cost and work?

There lies your answer. If you will get more enjoyment out of it, then who cares.

I get enjoyment out of passing Mustangs on the track. I am a function over form guy. I would rather spend five hours removing ten lbs of weight from the car than 5$ and 5 minutes on underglow.

Here's a few customer submitted photos with our underglow kit:

Might as well get the best kit available if you're dead-set on getting underglow

How about lean, mean, clean cars that go like hell around curves as well as in a straight line? What did we call those back in the day? Oh yeah, "sleepers".
The diametric opposite of "Ricers".

No. Unless your vehicle can literally fly and your friends have cars that can fly, there is no reason to have lights underneath it.

No. Just, no.

Underglow is one thing.

Futzing with your fuel and exhaust systems (which are critical to performance) just to throw flames goes beyond potentially cheesy and into the disgustingly stupid.

"Go Greased Lightning you're burnin up the quarter mile."
A young Olivia Newton John. Showing my age, but I wanted to cry when she came out of the closet.

If underglow is the 90's, exhaust flames are the 50's.

Underglow only works if you put hydraulics on as well.

Why not install a projector in place of your headlight and beam out movies and your favorite cartoons onto the pavement? Would be a nice way to illuminate the road and entertain yourself.
