So do you have a ring and a date?

Otherwise you are not engaged.

I know this is the off topic section, so I thought I would get meta and go off topic in the off topic section by going back on topic. Also this question wasn't really worth a new trash thread.

You guys have any issues with the '12/'13 year air filter box not mating super well with the plastic bit that feeds air into the airbox? Like the foam bit is starting to get rumpled and the airbox doesn't really get on there as much as I would like and that one stupid bolt on the right that secures the airbox will not allow one to push it towards the front of the car to fit more into the plastic bit that feeds air. Has anyone has seen this or has any easy ideas to get it to mate on there more effectively?

I don't have that issue but I've seen it on others and just chalked it up to mfg. tolerance. How bad is it?

I wouldn't start a new thread either. I'd just ask you guys here.

Its not that bad, it just doesn't mate on there fully like it was new. I was hoping there would be some plastic bit I could take off and re attach to push it closer towards the airbox. I will get a picture when I can and post it up here.

Mine still fits perfect and closes no issue. I have the TRD drop in though so maybe it fits better?

Is that just a TRD reusable filter to fit in the stock airbox or the whole TRD intake upgrade?

I've been eyeing the entire TRD intake, mainly because it seems so much higher quality than the stock one but it sure isn't cheap.

Just the drop in reusable.

Oh no I was talking about the plastic housing the filter sits in, and it mating with the plastic bit that it slips into towards the front of the car that feeds air into the airbox. That connection for me is not flush. Slowly gotten worse over time with each filter change.

That is what I was talking about as well. All is flush on mine. I have never seen a stock one (the TRD was in mine when I bought the car) so am not sure if the filter frame is different in the standard one and causes stress on the box if not perfectly in place.

Maybe the horn is slipping forward away from the air box. I could see that happening if a clip came loose. Can you wiggle the tail end of the horn forward and back? Shouldn't be able to do that. Up and down a little, yes, but it should otherwise stay in place.

I don't have that problem, but, if I did, I'd fix it with this -
