A long time ago...

I was on a training exercise. We were all holding M-60's above our head's in the 100+ degree desert heat while running in place doing high knees. We were there to learn survival techniques. The 1SG was talking about desert survival and where to find food.

There were a billion locusts everywhere, and he starts picking them up and eating them, all the while yelling at us. His mouth was so full of those nasty bugs, he had green bug juice dripping off his chin. The 1SG was spitting juices while yelling... Then one guy lowered his M-60 from above his head, DISASTER! The 1SG went over to him and yelled at him getting bug juice all over his face! LOL

We all had to do push-ups while balancing the M-60s on our backs. The guy that dropped his weapon had to eat some locusts and get made fun of.

I will never forget that! ( I NEVER dropped out of a run or quit an exercise because of what could happen!!!)

OK, I reckon @Sapphireho suspected it and @bcj nailed it -

Yep, I HAD an appointment to get a follow up MRI to my back surgery.

However, I didn't. Why? It got complicated.

In order to get a second MRI that close to my past surgery and other MRI, I would have to get a blood test done to insure my one remaining kidney could metabolize the contrast injection.

Now, before THAT, they would have to obtain authorization from Medicare because of the extra charge. Plus they would have to do a double (before and after contrast MRI run). I'm quickly losing interest in this whole follow up procedure.

So, I tried to contact the surgeons assistant (PSC) that called for the 2nd MRI. He called for it because I was bitching about some residual back pain. However, he is in surgery today assisting the surgeon in chopping up another patient.

I'm thinking this whole thing is NOT necessary. However, I will consult with him tomorrow.

MEANWHILE, we still don't have any running hot water in the house and mrs humfrz is getting overheated and cranky. The toddler freaked out because the power went out (circuit breaker popped) because I was heating water in the microwave.

NOW, I just ran out of cigarettes and "Marge is waiting at the Lincoln Park Inn".

So my oem license plate screws on the trunk rusted and a while back I got a pair of "license plate screws/bolts", so last night I finally removed the one ones and put the new ones in... but... they don't screw in flush?? They're longer than the oem ones.. So my plate's loose now. :|

Think I need to go back to the hardware store and find different ones. And also google the forums to find the correct size..

I like riddle... but I hate when they make riddle that have multiple answers, so they can say I’m wrong. When I point out their mistakes/errors, they just say “It’s just for fun”...

EDIT: POTTY MOUTH WORDS REMOVED. BAD MOD! BAD!

What is with your car and rust? First the top, now this?

You have the OEM screws right? That would be the size. Get stainless.

Life achievement: finally was able to swim 1 length of a pool without stopping (23 meters).

Even though the Coast Guard never called me back, glad I tried to join 3 months back. Forced me to take swim classes so I wouldn't be targeted during boot camp

Yeah I kept them. I'll just find another pair at Lowes later I guess..

Not sure. But I do see my parents in Daly City fairly often, and it's very damp/foggy there usually, especially if/when I stay overnight.
