The STI brembos have a pair of 40mm pistons and 46mm pistons. The smaller pistons are what the rotor "sees" first as there is a slight force wedging the pads together. Except that the sti mounts the calipers on the back of the upright and the brz has them on the front. So to keep the bleed screws and internal passages in the right place you would have to swap them from left to right, which puts the pistons in the wrong order.

My understanding is that the BRZ PP calipers have 40mm pistons and no differential bores. The subaru 4-pots and stock brakes have all the same sized pistons and it's not the end of the world but it would have been nice if they'd done 40/42 or something.

So the total piston area is smaller to maintain correct bias with the bigger rotors (sti brakes move it forward), and the smaller area also results in a firmer brake pedal. The sti calipers meanwhile have more piston area and a bigger rotor and they don't work on the brz.

i have 18x9.5 +40 Rays 57c6. You will need at least a 5mm spacer to clear stock Brembos on PP package.

Does anyone know if the Enkei TD5 will fit? Its a 17x8 wheel with a 45 mm offset.

Is there a list of Enkei wheels confirmed to fit?

According to Konig, the 17x9 +40 will not fit the pp brembos. this is very unfortunate for STX autocrossers
I loved this option since it was cheap, lightweight, and came in black!

Probably have to go with Wedssports.. anyone know the clearance on the Rota Titans 17x9 +35?

Only a little heavier than the TC105n and a lot nicer on the bank balance, the 949 6UL in 17x9 fit quite nicely. I didn't think Titans were +35 either (can't speak to whether they fit).

I haven't seen this asked yet. Any idea if the 17x7 +42 RPF1s would clear PP Brembo's?

Confirmed that Gram Lights 57 xtreme 18x9.5 +40 5x100 fits on PP with 1 finger gap, but will need coilovers.

I LOVE these pads, very little dust, Great stopping power for the street. Rotors smooth as glass.
Had Hawk Ceramics on my 2013 BRZ Limited for 52,000 miles and they were half way worn.
Those are 2011 STI center caps, had polycarbonate spacer rings made in Hungry for $5. shop here wanted
$180. The lugs are from FT-86 SpeedFactory.....the frosting on the cake!
Do you have at least a finger width in between the caliper and spoke? If so I think I'll run it.

So FT86 confirmed Ambit RE-02 fitment on the PP, but I found the Ambit RE-02s for sale online with a disclaimer that they would *not* clear a BBK. Anyone have any idea why? They were the same size listed here, 17x9+35. Maybe a vendor just trying to play it safe?

Can someone confirm whether the SSR GTX01 18x8.5 +44 clears the Brembos, please?

Searched the whole thread for this, no results.

Anyone know if the Rays Gram Lights 57CR in 18x9.5 fit at some offset (hoping for +38)?

Trying to buy some wheels and one shop said these "should" fit but rather see pics before purchasing!
