you have to be a registered master technician and have work order information to be able to reprogram keys but just adding keys anyone can do that at least on our techstreams at the dealer....i never had the chance to mess around with the one you can buy so i wouldnt know the features you have =( i was tempted to buy it at one time before tho!

It works and it does come with an "Activation Too", but these cheap Chinese knockoff cables aren't fully functional. I was unable to program TPMS ID's, and the driver for the cable only works with Windows XP.

This is TechStream Lite, it cannot reprogram ECU's.

I see oil temperature in there, does it also log oil pressure? There is no reason for me to buy a set of gauges and wire them in if I can just use an OBD cable to get that information.

The driver worked for me on windows 7 without issue. Tirerack has my wheels on backorder until october though, so i guess we'll have to wait a bit to see if the TPMS reprogramming works

Hmmm interesting... Are you running Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?

32 Bit (in a VM via Parallels), although it also worked on my GF's laptop with Vista.

Ah that's probably the problem I was trying to run in 64bit. But fortunately my work laptop is 32bit XP which worked just fine. I'd be interested to see if you can program TPMS IDs. I have other tools to do that but I want to see it can be done with this cheap Techstream setup.
