Date Poll For Norcal EOS Meet/Drive/BBQ 2013

Hello folks, so as you already know, we are changing the date of the Norcal EOS Meet/Drive/BBQ to october.

Today i had long meeting with plato and jonah and we discussed about the future of the our annual meets.

A lot of new ideas and changes will happen for the upcoming meet.

First step is to figure out the best day/date for all.

We will need to choose between october 19 saturday or october 20 sunday.

The event location has already been established and it will still be at Vasona Park

Let get ahead of the game and start voting! Poll will only run for 6 days

I know not all will be able to see this poll and cast their vote so make sure to let your friends know about this thread.

I don't think it is that big of an issue as the meet wraps up by around 2pm. Then there is the drive that will last a couple hours if you want to attend that as well (or just that for people coming later). Should be able to get on the road back home by 5 at the latest I would imagine. But Maybe @PMok can chime in as he is planning the drive route.

Either way that is the reason for the poll. Some people will not be able to make it and that always be the case. But popular vote can help us determine when the larger number of people can make it.

I voted Saturday but will be coming either day and hope to see everyone out there

yes the basic plan would be to start our drive after about 2PM, and cruise some of the sweet roads the Santa Cruz mountains have to offer for about 1-2 hours. Hey @Cjymiller and @M&M_Hwy9 I could use some suggestions on the route as this is your neck of the woods.

@M&M_Hwy9 had a route planned for a drive a few weeks back, we could do it. I want to do Ice Cream grade again....

I've spent a lot of time in this park when I was working as a sailing instructor in high school. Sundays are super crowded and I would suggest Saturday.
