Do I have sht tune or really shitty gas around the city?

If your IAM is really that low you have major knock and the engine is pulling timing.

You may have a bad or incorrect(E85?) tune or you have bad gas or running too low octane fuel for the tune.

Either way 0.2 IAM aint good, 1 is great and 0.7 is stock

Your logs look different, were they taken at different times as IAM is different?

On one log your LTFT is positive on cruising indicating adding more fuel/lean so maybe an intake leak near your throttle body? Check the hoses and clamps around there..

You could take it back to the tuner or send the log with the low IAM

Hi all, I logged a short drive including 2 pulls. I am currently on the OFT Stage 2+. Please let me know how it is running and if it is safe. Thanks!

Hey Guys,

So a weird issue I'm having right now is that my RPM's climb up when I coast in gear. This happens at any speed, in any gear, but I have to be moving/coasting. When I come to a complete stop my rpm's drop back to a normal idle. Likewise, if I am moving/coasting and I pop it into neutral, the car returns to a normal idle.

I grabbed a quick log of the issue this morning. What can be seen is me driving about 30mph up to a stop light. I push the clutch in with my left foot, lightly apply the brakes with my right foot, leaving the car in 3rd gear the entire time. As I'm coasting up to the light my rpm's climb to about 2k then drop, then begin to climb again.

Any advice for me? I've checked all my hoses and they look tight. I checked and made sure my bov has the correct spring. Not sure if its mechanical or tune related, i'm thinking it wouldnt be a bad idea to get it boost leak tested again tho. Thanks!

High positive fuel trims during cold start, normalizes after a few minutes of driving (as you can see near the very end of the datalog).

Anyone know what the cause would be? Tuner is taking a long time to get back to me. Not sure if it's a vacuum leak since fuel trims start to look normal when car is warmed up..

Fuel is with E85 w/ Flex fuel kit.

They are not positive at all, it s just that it learnt a negative ltft and it s balancing with a positive stft
It looks ok

Oops, I posted the wrong link. Corrected the link. Do you know what it might be? It's so weird. It only happens during cold starts. The fuel trims trigger a P0171 code but there are NO LEAKS!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a little insight on an issue I'm having.

If you take a look at my log you can see I do two pulls on this drive. I pull through 3rd/4th gear then shift up to 5th and let off the gas to slow down. Except when I let off the throttle, my afr's dont shoot up to max like it normally does cutting fuel. It keeps hovering around 14 and I dont get that engine braking that I'm looking for. Could this be by design in my tune? Or is this an issue?

Also noticed after the first pull, when I was in 5th gear off the gas slowing down, I pushed in the clutch to shift to 6th and my rpm's shot up 400 or so.

Anyone know why my fuel trims shoot up to ~40% when my 'fuel injection pi ratio %' goes up to 100%? Anyone know why it's 50% and then 100%, anyways?

it is hardcoded into ecu's logic
it starts with 50/50%, soon goes to 100% PI and after that it will go to whatever the tune command for (usually 100% DI at idle)
you won't change that

that s an obvious problem in the Port injection system
I don t know the fix, i never saw this, i ve only seen DI problems
you will have to make sure what kind of injectors you have and make sure the scaling for them is right

if you have stock injectors but a scaling for different ones, you ll have always problems
once you sort this, you can start to search for actual physical problems on them

Looks like you have exhaust leak or o2 sensor issue afr is about 18, but injection volumes seem high at 5 ms, something not correct

yes it seems like PI is struggling to inject the correct amount

I remember him saying he bought the car used and not have an idea of what injectors arecin, and what the tune is for

Thanks @steve99

I'm 99% sure the injectors are scaled correctly in the tune and that the injectors are stock. I doubt anyone in their right mind would leave their fancy aftermarket injectors in the car when trading the car in haha.

Going to have to go under the car soon and check the header.

Also, is it possible that the vacuum leak is affecting how the PI's are working?

Vaccuum\intake leaks ir exhaust leaks wont effect how injectors work or pi\di ratios, but tge will wffect what the maf sendor or 02 sensors read and this can throw off fueling and cause high fuel trims.

I'm pretty new to this, can anyone verify if these logs look OK? It seems like LTFT is highish and AFR is lowish.

https://datazap.me/u/treybriggs/log-...34&tmax=699.79

I just installed a JDL UEL Header myself and flashed Wayne's "STG2 91 UEL DI (Default)" tune with OFT, then drove a little extra for a couple days, maybe 100-150mi. Obviously worried about a leak since that seems to be pretty common here.
