Exclamation 235/40/18 on 18x9.5 +35 ??

Just purchased my frs about 3 weeks ago and have installed the invidia N1 exhaust and Megan Coilovers and ordered wheels in the above size. I just ordered my tires (Falken Azenis) in 235/40 and am a little worried about the stretch for daily driving as i frequent highways and NJ roads are pretty rough. Hoping someone with experience dailying anything stretched could ease my mind or let me know to go bigger if need be, Thanks

Tire tread width varies A LOT by manufacturer and model. For a given width (the 235 part, mfgs can vary up to 1.5" wider or narrower.) Not knowing the model Falken Azeni, if I had to gues... those 235's are going to be stretched a bit on a 9.5" wheel width. Try to lookup the "tread width" (not just the overall "section width") to determine the amount of stretch/chub I'm going to end up with. Tirerack makes this easy, other sites, not so much. For my purposes I try to stay within +/- 0.5" of the section width to the wheel/rim width. For some people -2.0" tread to wheel width is just fine.

The absolute easiest way to tell what the end look will be is simply to do an internet search for it. You will have to filter through some false positives, but eventually you'll likely find someone running the same or a similar setup.
