The Jackson Racing Supercharger would not explain why I would get rod knock.

I figure I'll change mine when I swap back to stock exhaust for smog in a couple months. I'm only at 137k and they are supposed to be good for 200k but I don't feel like pulling the exhaust again later.


I have changed my blinker fluid though. Here's a pic mid change as it's almost fully drained

120K on OEM struts with 1 1.2 inch drop lowering springs. Many miles over Detroit roads (you can't even imagine) and 4 Canadian winters. All struts still working fine.
Much of the hatred of OEM struts is simply because they are OEM.

I think mileage on the dashboard isn’t so important and doesn’t tell a lot about car’s condition. Just imagine a nice car with a 10k miles of power sliding and clutch kicks on the track - I would probably prefer a car with 100k of highway miles

Use is use....wear and tear happens driving hard and/ or the accumulation of miles driven. Ive heard it several times, most engine wear happens at start up ( colder the weather...probably worse off, and if youre just using regular conventional oil, then youre behind the 8-ball). It's all relative to have much coin $$ you're spending ( but buying used...5k...25k...50k miles, the buyer just doesn't know how hard the car was driven, and if it's a manual where RPM can be tacked up 6-8k....without any limiter....then do the math). Only the seller/ owner knows how hard the vehical was run...and even then, are they going to communicate that real info to a prospective buyer?!?....usually not). Nothing material lasts forever.

It's like would you rather have a cigarette that's new for $3, or a used cig with 5 drags out of it for $2.50, or a cig with 12 drags out it for $1.25 ( knowing that a cig is typically dead at 18 drags). Do the math.

PS: don't smoke drugs.....just smoke the competition!
