Now it's time to turn my attention into NA mods.
Some of these have been posted before but I'm merging all into this post:

HKS Dual Resonated Front Pipe

Tanabe Over Pipe

HKS Super Manifold "Boxer Spec"

Perrin Inlet Hose

Blitz Air Filter

Getting it tuned next week. Will post final results with a video

Cool, full HKS exhaust! Hope that Legamax suitcase canister tames down that header! Looking forward to hearing how it sounds.

Wow that sounds really good on the video, I'm sure it sounds even better in person.

Super throaty, nice growl! Looks like that Legamax canister really tames the header, doesn't sound raspy or obnoxious at all! Maybe that little baby cat in the header helps as well.

Nice job!

Steering wheel badge Version 2.0

Not very pleased with the way my previous custom badge turned out, I decided to start over.

After some research I found the Toyota Hub Cap 2994 had a detachable "T" logo with similar dimensions of our Scion steering wheel badge, instead of the oversized "T" that most people use.

Cut the Scion badge and fitted this one inside

Found a piece of leather with similar pattern used in the cover.

Painted the ring flat black and the logo black chrome with a satin finish. And here's the finished product:

Not OEM quality but I can live with it.

Ordered the JDM Toyota 86 red shift knob on ebay. Shipped from Japan. Surprisingly came in a Subaru box with a part number that is not listed anywhere. The quality is exactly the same as my stock knob so I doubt it's a counterfeited part. Anyway, this should match my new leather seats nicely .

Well, after six months of adding some color to my seats they have degraded into plain fugly:

I was already planning on doing leather seats at a later stage anyway, but it became a priority.

Nice collection of parts in your build! I love the interior bits.

Quick question, when doing your steering wheel mods, what steps did you take to remove the airbag and all?

Here's the latest:

1. I made a video to show the sound of my exhaust at WOT

2. Sourced the 2017 JDM Alcantara door trim panels with red stitching.

3. Temporarily back on stockies

Here's what happened:
While changing lanes I don't know WTH I hit that went through the tire AND the rim too!

A new Work Emotion D9R is in order but since it's a special order it will take 3-4 months. (Ordered on December 20th)

So, since I had to put back the stock rims I took the opportunity to something I've been playing in my head for a while. I sent my two rears to get them widened by 1" making them 18x10.5 +50 on a stock body. Thanks to @Leonardo for showing me examples that it will fit. I also took my own measurement to verify it. I will be using a 3mm spacer just to be safe, so there should be between 5mm to 8mm clearance. We'll see if they really fit. (fingers crossed)

That's insane. Never seen that kind of combined tire and wheel damage. Crazy crack in the wheel. Sad. Poor D9R, we barely knew you
