motivation. i've got a whiteboard full of things i 'could' do by my back door. half of them have been 'could do' for over 5 years.
I didn't actually know that...thank you, where in here is a good place to hang to get to know others? I would like to meet more of you, there are no car people where I live at all...this place and the integra forums are the only place I really go...other than the track...but all tracks are far from me..so any hints would be helpful..do any of you use discord?

i don't understand discord. after the jalopnik/herb fallout, i was notified by some of the users that they started a jalopnik discord. i've visited a couple of times, but really don't understand what's going on there..

technically, we're supposed to have off topic conversations within the 'off topic' section.

realistically, we say whatever fancies us in whatever thread it's even remotely relevant to.

there's not too much to it otherwise. i just click the 'new posts' button, and read anything that's even a mild curiousity. learn stuff, repeat it, listen to humfrz tell how he invented fire, you know, typical stuff

If it were a car that was no longer produced, ......I would keep it and fix it. But they are still making them...so....I would let it go and get another.

I agree...getting another is what I want to do...but I had to reach so far just to get that one...that I will not be able to afford one for along time...maybe it was a mistake in the first place but i loved every moment....if anyone knows of one for cheap...please tell me I'd love to get one again!

As a fellow Minnesotan now living in North Dakota with an identical white 2014 BRZ Limited this breaks my heart. The ice has been so brutal up here I have to leave it in the garage for as long as a week or two, even with Blizzaks. Hope you can get into another one soon.

Thanks for the support man, I appreciate it. I do wish I could get my hands on another very badly, though I feel like the universe wants the opposite. Stay warm!

Hey guys, so I've found a replacement for my crashed brz, buts it's a 2013 scion frs -10 model with 52k miles. It has one accident listed with no details and it's at a dealership just a 1/2 hr away. Its sticker is only 14k. I'm not sure if scions are any different or if they have any quirks or flaws. I know of some of the issues the early BRZ had. My question is basically is it worth it....or should I look for another 2014 or newer and what should I look out for if I test drive it? Any advice would be worth it. I really miss my brz and this is the only one in my area that I can afford currently.

i would prefer a 14+. accident isn't terrible, but need to do more due diligence to make sure it was repaired correctly

If that's all ya can afford i would still wait. especially being a first year, who knows how abused it was..and there's the recall concern. But naw, frs/brz are the same mechanically, only bumper/interior trim differences..
