Does the maperformance large oil pan clear the ptuning headers?
I don't remember if they have special headers or not to clear their own oil pan. their oil pan with the lamina oil cooler I think would be a pretty good combo

I think they are based in the USA and depend on overseas agents to ship cars back to the US. Rough cost was $2,500 through Ship Overseas. This included collecting the car from San Francisco, shipping in a container to an agent in Germany, and unloading on the other side. I'm sure it would be cheaper through a local shipping company.

Thanks a lot for the info... interesting $2500 doesn't sound too bad for such a crazy idea. Cheers.

@_debo, you can also try a forwarding company, they can have better prices sometimes. I have worked with shipw.com in the past, you can try to request them a quote.

Anyone know if this is compatible with automatic transmission, or if I need to replace anything?

You'll have to replace your automatic transmission assembly with a manual transmission assembly

Unfortunately our turbo kit will not fit due to the size of the automatic transmission assembly itself

If I did not want to build the motor or swap the transmission, which turbo would be a better fit GTX2867R or GTX3076R. The BRZ will not be used as a daily driver, instead usage will be Canyon carving, Track, Auto-X, etc. (Of course no issue with adding supporting mods.)

GTX2867R hands down. You will love the quick spool both on the street and the track and you will still be able to make more than 400whp on E85 with the stock motor.

For DYI install what are my solutions for tuning? Do you include a tune? On this V2 you retained the firewall to strut v-bars as well?

We provide a start map to get you to your tuner and we also provide e-tuning for EcuTek.

Yes, the V2 kit retains both strut bars.

Is the GTX-3076R capable of running on a stock motor and transmission safetly?, what would be the disadvantage in choosing the larger turbo?, (obviously it would leave more room to grow once the hit for more power comes.) Characteristic wise what are the primary differences between those two turbos?

Sure. We just try and keep it under 440whp on the stock motor/trans which is why most do not go with that turbo unless they have a built motor.

That turbo will spool slower than the 28 series.

What are your goals for the car? Built motor, E85, pump gas only?
