$25.9K includes destination charges in the US. Only thing extra would be Tax/Tags/Title and then of course any "doc fees" you have to figure out how to negotiate away from.

Perfect, that's in the US, but the OP is in Canada.

This thread needs to get moved to the Canada subforum.

BTW OP, I thought you were leaning towards being smart and keep your new Hyundai ;-)

The reason why I did this topic was because I had a choice. The original plan was to finance an FR-S/BRZ while simultaneously financing my elantra. In that way, I get both cars at the same time.

The reason why i moved it up to 45K was because I also have the chance to just combine both values and get even more car for the money. These sports cars are beautiful in itself but its too heavily bloated with safety features (not saying that it's a bad thing). I personally just don't want to drive a road boat.

Even the FR-S is now bloated with features but its probably the least bloated of them all...

Yes. If you're a purist looking for a true sports car, a used Cayman S would be perfect in that price range. Elise is more track-oriented, I wouldn't DD it, but as a second car it'd be great. A 370z could also work, although it feels bigger than you might expect. And of course a BRZ, although it's out of its league compared against those cars. Perhaps a BRZ-STI when it comes out.

I actually got to see my second brz yesterday. I'm in love

Placing a preorder today.

200hp is fine for a first time rwd owner. Yeah an additional 25-50hp and tq would be nice though :-)

On the side note I would also go with a Base Corvette (maybe fork out a little more for a Grand Sport) or a Boss 302

except i doubt you can get a grand sport for under 45k and you might even have trouble getting the base for that around this time of year
