Nice picture! Didn't realize that you are a female owner. I totally support your decisions.

Somehow that get's translated into not being an "enthusiast".
When I hit 60 I slowly started drifting that direction. I have always loved working on cars and motorcycles. I still have the tools, a place to store them, and an enclosed workspace. What's fading is the desire. Particularly for things like the coilover/strut replacement on my F150. I don't mind getting under the car and I don't mind getting a little grubby - truth is, I still like doing that. I think, though, that I may have replaced my last clutch and, perhaps, plastigauged my last bearing. And that's OK.

There are many kinds of "enthusiasm." No one should be excluded because they don't spin the wrenches.

I recommend finding an independent shop you can trust. There has to be some good ones in a city as big as Dallas. It takes some initial research but it'll be worth it.

And that is most likely in addition to the charge to remount the tire in the correct spot on the rim.

Yes but independent shops don't have loaners or wifi.

Ps, at the dealership and they told me the tranny fluid isn't serviceable on my vehicle. (Yes, it's an AT). Is this right ?

No that is not right. In fact it is far from right.

The AT fluid is shown on the schedule to be replaced at 60K miles (sorry the chart is all in kilometers)

There are compatible aftermarket fluids for the Toyota WS spec. Been down that road with my '05 Sequoia. I know Amsoil makes one.

Well then they would have the tranny fluid and know when to change it. Zero excuse for them.
I would be finding a different service provider even if they didn't have WiFi.

Twin City Subaru
shows transmission oil service on their menu of 30k service for the brz. T

That said it does not specify auto or manual.

#6: Use Only Genuine Toyota Dot 3 Brake Fluid.

Looks like I better downgrade before the dealer finds out.
