Motul states that their gear 300 oil is safe for yellow metals on their website which they confirmed when I called them at their corporate headquarters.

Although the Motul GL-4/GL-5 Gear 300 works in the FR-S, we like the Redline MT-90 or the Amsoil MTG in our trans.

All good products, really a personal preference. As long as it's GL-4 for the trans, you'll be fine.

Could name it a all fluids change.

Does the boost service cover changing of the differential and transmission fluid? Or do they just refill it?

I don't think they cover drivetrain fluids.

Scion Service Boost Scheduled Factory Maintenance Covers:
•Oil and filter
•Tire rotation
•Multi-point inspection
Engine oil may include OW20 Synthetic Oil, depending on vehicle model and model year.

So do we do need to replace those or just refill? How would we get those replaced then?

You will have to schedule an appointment for the dealership to change the fluids, or a local shop to change the fluids for you.

Hey great instructions!

Did you need a pump to drain the transmission fluid completly or did it leak out completly by itself?

You won't need a pump to get the fluids out if the car is level. You will need a pump to get the fluids in, however.

The fluids will drain by itself. Just remember to allow the drivetrain to warm up so the fluids will drain easier.
We use this fluid extractor to fill the trans and diff.
