NRG Harness Bar install questions - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Im having some trouble trying to install the NRG harness bar. I haven't found any instructions anywhere that are helpful. I see its like the Cipher harness bar but info on that didn't help either. While trying to install, the two supporting rods I attached to the lower seatbelt mount on the B pillar hit the back of the stock seats. Is there any way around this? I can't even get the seat to a comfortable position. I bought it off ft86speedfactory thinking I can just bolt it in. Perhaps the bottom of the bar support rods need to be mounted in a different location but I'm not sure.

Why you would use / trust this hackery is beyond me in the first place. Please properly mount your harnesses.

In the description for the NRG harness bar it says "This is only a show piece and not intended for actual use." For your safety, I hope this is just being used for hard parking cred.
