Veloster turbo is about 2850 lbs and still get 38 mpg with 1.6 GDI-T. Hyundai can make a small RWD for that weight if they wanted to. Someday I hope they do. And you guys will have more to compare with FRS/BRZ.

It seems like they would offer the 50th anniversary on the new body style... but then again they might use it for the current body style since it's a hot item, and it may be a good way to say farewell to to that generation of the car.
Yep, 2014 will be the final send off for the current bodystyle. It'll also be the last year of improvements to the current bodystyle *sniff*.

I've heard that a lot about this car. But like I said before, I like the way it looks so I'll probably just like it more in person.

Is it because most of the pics are taken low, and kind of emphasize the grille and fog lamps? And in person you are looking down more?

I've decided it is the over-sized/over-styled fog lamps that kill if for me. Take them out (simple), and with a black car (also simple, although I prefer silver) to make the grille more subtle and hide the fake hood vents, it will be acceptable.

Yeah. I haven't stopped to look closely at the Gencoupe or Veloster at a dealership but I've encountered them in the wild.

Probably. The Gencoupe isn't a tall car by any means, so the front grill isn't as noticeable when standing. Plus the front grill is probably one of the easier things to change out visually.

Even with the grill, I still think you can make it look better. Something like this that I posted earlier.

Something as simple as colour matching the front bumper makes it look better.

Seeing the Genesis in person, it does look much better then in the photos. The front isnt as sleep as the 2010-12, but much more aggressive. The interior is a fantastic upgrade too.

I could still do without the fake hood vents, but they are no worse then the fake fender vents the BRZ has.

Wow!! It looks much better with the color matched bumper. Those black plastics in the hood need to die.

Black out the chrome strip and it would look even better IMO.
