I like it! I had an LED bar on my Jeep and it was fantastic. Just make sure to be nice with it and not blind people!

Pretty rough right now, but some progress. Will look much better when it is finished up and hidden behind the bumper grille, and smoked.

No comments on legality, but this mount is well done resulting looks wise. Looks much better blended in grill then if mounted normal way, floating above bumper/bonnet.
I still prefer looks-wise rally style classic extra lights though (do anyone make some fit for our cars?), something like these:

Looks much more meaner/agressive.

I like it, I've toyed with the idea. If I was to do it, I'd be mounting it behind the grill.

Though it's more trouble than it's worth since I wouldn't be using it a whole lot.

legally, you can have it, but it can't be used on road and when its off its supposed to have a cover.

I've got lightbars on my truck, and I got the speech from CHP at the chain control check area visiting yosemite in winter.

Do the lights run from left to right or vice versa just like knight rider?

I have been contemplating this for awhile. A 40" curved at the bottom of the grill.
Functional = Cool IMO

I live in the country, deer are a major concern. Traffic is almost nonexistent. I have HID high beams already.

I think you would have to make something to support it if you were going to mount at the bottom of the grill opening, as it is likely too heavy to just bolt to the bumper cover, and there really isn't any structure down there. ( one of the reasons mine is where it is)
