Long overdue, but finally found the time to remove the sound tube. Lowes had a sale on 1-1/4" plumbing end caps lol.

Got the Death Star shift knob from Etsy.. No other shift knob would have been a better choice, considering I'm a star wars nerd lol. Also, feels better.

Once again, @BirdTRD saves the day.

Came over to install my lip kit. I got a CS style kit - lip, side skirts, rear spats..

Well, a complete over sight to me was the fact that my Victory Function fenders are curved.. and in order for them to fit close/correctly, we had to do a bunch of modifying.

We started off by making a jig that matched the angle of the fender.

Had to drill out some spots and cut away some plastic in the side skirts to get them to bend.. and then a little bit of boiling water and a heatgun to help relax the material.. and we were able to screw it into place to hold the shape..

Sure enough, it worked like a dream.

God damn! That looks good! I installed mine over the weekend but luckily no bending required and it doesn't look as bold as yours with the victory function fender panels.

Dat curb rash tho..........jk! Mine's just as bad but on cheaper xxr527 rims.

I want to repair it when I have free time but it may be tough trying to paint-match a chrome-y black.

I bought the wheels used for a stupid good deal.. only issues is the 8 inches of curb on one wheel. I could buy a whole new wheel and still be well under what I could resell the set for. But it doesn't bother me. It happens.

Finally, installed Gentex series 8 frameless rear view mirror with auto dimming, and homelink, no compass. Looks & works great.
