Awesome just saw it come in! It looks really nice in the rear mirror you can finally see it and it’s about a similar height to the rear tail light thing.

Color match on 3 of 5 colors is perfect and painting of those risers will begin shortly. Charlesite Yellow and World Rally Blue will be updated for better paint match before being painted.

Excluding the painted risers, I now have everything I need to ship the order.

The production team in China is wet sanding the risers now (originally they only did one pair for paint test when I thought they were wet sanding them all).

The new WRB and Charlesite Yellow paint arrived at the factory yesterday, so I'll be receiving a paint test soon.

I appreciate everyone's patience. The supplier overseas is excellent and cares a lot about quality, and the work they've been doing is phenomenal.

I'll let you guys know as soon as I do.

Below are the VHB and single side adhesive rubber pieces needed. The VHB tape will keep the riser from wiggling and improve it's strength. The black rubber with the squares are placed ontop of the riser and what the spoiler will sit it. Having this soft barrier will prevent any cracks and provides a soft layer of protection as well as slight energy absorption. The rubber washers are simply rubber washers I designed bc they don't make them off the shelf at the size I needed.

Color match on WRB and Charlesite Yellow was a success. All of the risers are currently being painted.

Risers definitely make the wing a lot more tolerable. But the lines on this car are perfect without a wing, a wing just looks like an afterthought no matter what. Shame about the 2017+ models, either get a Toyota 86 with ugly bumper or BRZ with ugly wing.

I'd say many of us don't think of it as an ugly wing. Especially those of us who ordered the risers.

Otherwise it'd be easy to swap to a trunk with the same paint code or, at worst, fill in the holes from the wing.

Just jealous because you don't get to see those wingtips in your side mirrors every day.

I'd agree with this, except - if you're seeing the wingtips in your side mirrors, you don't have them adjusted correctly :p

Well not from a normal driving position necessarily, but lean over a bit and you'll probably see the driver's side wingtip.
