Yeah if you look at the maps the intake & exhaust cam timing are significantly different - I'm no expert but reading up on it a bit. I figure part of it has to do with UEL has fewer issues with pulse interactions at the merge because of the different runner lengths. Lots of factors involved really - eventually I might just have Shiv do a custom tune

Your work is a piece of art. Total respect. I do have a question though. Why did you guys decide to keep the torque bump at 4800rpm? Since it is only a bump occurring at a short stretch of rpms most OEMs would have sliced it off to protect engine HW from peak cylinder pressures mostly because the torque isn't sustained over a larger engine speed.
The FA20 can handle way more power loads that we could ever achieve through sound naturally aspirated tuning. So with that in mind, our goal was to maximize torque at every RPM point. The OFH was designed to maximize average torque in the 4500-7500rpm range since this is where you run the engine when running aggressively through the gears. That extra bump in torque between 4500-5000rpm feels really nice when you grab the next gear. The tradeoff is the inverse dip centered at 3800rpm. But it's high enough that it's not felt during normal driving (2500-3500rpm) and low enough that it never comes into play when you rowing through the gears for max acceleration. Much of the dip could be subjectively "removed" by reducing torque bump in the 4000-5000rpm range but what's the fun in making a car slower?

Will copying over the VVT tables you posted for the JDL UEL be compatible, or do VVT mapping changes require ignition timing/other changes?

i was really digging not having to wring the engine out to redline to feel the power after adding in the UEL headers with stage 2. cant wait to experience the improved driveability!

Do you think you can reach the elusive 200whp on 93? You are almost there, and that baseline dyno doesn't seem overly high either. With the stock tune running 94, Q300 and catless frontpipe, I had a baseline of 169.

I cant wait to get my car out of storage in the spring and try this along with my new borla uel! Keep up the great work!

The OFT stage 2 tunes are designed for catless headers, so it's not really suited for your header.

Well, I know that, but it's been said before that it's safe with 200cel high flow cats. And i've been running the older maps with no trouble.

But i'm wondering if these new maps are too aggressive for the high flow catted headers...
