So I've further perfected my tune, now run almost 3 degrees extra timing in the higher revs, car pulls like crazy and logging shows it's really running safe.

Yesterday we had the yearly Toyota meeting at the Toyota The Netherlands, lot's of cars were present. Last two years I was present with my Celica and I ended up being runner up in the 'best of show 1999 - now' group, loosing to a GT86 last year (which was the final push of getting a GT86 myself). This year I again was selected to take part in the competition (visitors are voting on the top 4 cars), but this time I won Some pictures at the meeting:

Also saw some nice parts on other GT86s, like this spoiler which is now ordered. Still debating if I should keep it black, or paint it white, what do you guys think?

Congratulations on the win!

Be aware that the roof spoiler is pretty bad for aerodynamics:

Well that sucks, but as I know you are also a guy who knows what he is talking about, I've just cancelled the order

Car is looking amazing & congratulations on the win!

Also, that Celica & MRS seems to be good looking also. A lot of times it seems as if those cars are neglected since they are considered slow or whatever...so it's nice to see owners who take pride in them and give them the respect they deserve.

Thanks! Yeah the MRS and Celicas are getting pretty cheap, meaning that young guys and girls buy them and rice them out.. such a shame. The blue one is my dads and the white one is of a friend

Ive cancelled the roof spoiler order and fitted the TRD Aero Stabilizing Cover instead, so another TRD part crossed of the list. Pics soon

Oh wow, you and your dad have great taste in mods
&
Yes, it's unfortunate that when a lot of Japanese sports cars get cheap, they get ruined with tasteless mods. I feel like our twins are headed down the same road

Anyways, looking forward to the pictures!

I'm actually also planning to get TRD parts for my car now in the future. Have a whole list made haha. One thing I believe will be super hard to find is the steering wheel since i heard it's discontinued!

Yes the steering wheel is discontinued, but can still be bought together with the interior boot set, allthough pretty pricey, I might go for a Cusco carbon one instead.. The other TRD part I really want is the fender fins, I probably get those next

@Clipdat , sure:

We bought it from Germany, it was a pretty stock facelift one with hardtop included. I sourced the UK style bodykit for it (front and rear spats + skirts), It has 16" OZ Superleggeras, TTE lowering springs, Duplex exhaust and full leather:

Thank you, I'll pass the compliment to my dad. Yeah it's really a go kart! Just a shame that Toyota has never put a 2zz in it, it's slight down on power. But a lovely car nevertheless.

Yeah Cusco one is also nice & TRD fins should match your TRD aero kit very well!

By the way, beautiful pictures of the MRS. Love that aero kit. Overall It's just so perfect.

Hey, my dad has one as well in red! I bought some mods for him and he bought some as well. Catless header, megan racing muffler, AEM intake, tanabe strut tower bars, H&R lowering springs.

So visited a Cars and Coffee meeting today, dozens of Ferraris, Porsches and fast German cars present and only two Twins Also fitted the TRD Aero Stabilizing Cover, so another TRD part crossed of the list:

Fitting the Aero Cover is more challenging than the TRD body kit :P The instructions are a mess, even the English ones, and the supplied spacers (fitting guide) give a much to big gap. This is one of those, try 10 times, apply 1 time
