Birmingham AL Car Scene?

Hey guys new member to the forum here and new owner of a RS1.0. I'll be moving to Birmingham in July, and I was curious if there was much of a car scene in Birmingham?

-Any car meets to know of?
-Barber Motorsports tips/tricks?
-Any specific Car Clubs in the area?

where are you moving from? what part of town are you moving to?
I ride my motorcycle to Barbers races. you can park all around the race course.
Most races you have to park your car across the street from the entrance and park in
a field that is kinda of rough and ride a bus in. the lot might be a little sketchy in a twin. My brother races at the ARHMA race in October. it has gotten larger every year. It's really grown and a good race to attend. There are thousands of motorcycles of every type and come from all over.

I was hoping there was a decent C&C meet to go to so that's good to hear. I am moving from Nashville (just finished school in Tuscaloosa and starting my job come July). I will be in the Homewood/Vestavia area right off I-65

I am in the Hoover area. my car is not my daily driver. There are not a lot of twins in our area. I see about one a month. I have a friend who lives on 280 and he says he sees them daily.
