OLM HP+ LED bulbs or All in One HID kit??

Tried to search but the words are so short i'm not coming up with anything.

FT86SF sells both, the HP+ LED bulb kit is $135 and the All in one HID kit is $120. I normally run TRS Morimoto Elite HID kits but if i can get similar performance with a 10 minute install i would like to give it a try.

The LED kit is 3200 lumens but i have seen many that say not to run this type of bulb in a factory projector.

The All in one HID kit has 7 positive reviews on another site that sells it for the 15 WRX and i think i will give it a shot unless somebody can give me a very positive review on the HP+ led kit.

Thanks,
Joey

what exactly is this all in one HID kit? I would go with the Morimoto instead. LED in housings not specifically designed for LED's will make the output look like crap

There's a lot of criticism of the quality of the LEDs in factory housings all over the internet, including from several of our own vendors (conflict of interest, you be the judge) but the light definitely doesn't seem to be as strong compared to an HID retrofit. I'd do HIDs myself.

In my experience LED bulbs low beams dont reach far enough and are not bright enough.
I swapped my automation LED bulbs for a diode dynamics plug and play HID kit. it was like 5-10x better and brighter

LEDs really can't be retrofitted into an HID housing. The light distribution from LED diodes isn't the same as an HID bulb, so unless the housing is designed specifically with an LED source in mind, it won't work properly which is why you get terrible light output.

TRS has a warranty and excellent customer service... If you know where to look, they have coupon codes as well that make the price difference negligible...
