So I'm headed to DIY Austin Texas in a bit, mobile dyno will be there from 10-2 according to Facebook post I saw.

IIRC, you're still relatively stock mechanically; with only an intake and exhaust tips.
Let us know what it puts on the ground.

You are correct, TRD performance intake and exhaust tips on a full oem exhaust. I do not have a pure stock dyno (unfortunately), but this is on Dynojet which gives the most accurate numbers (lowest because a lot of [but not all] tuners will manipulate the other dynos to inflate numbers to please customers and fake increases). So this will serve as my benchmark against future power mods.

FWIW: the guy running the dyno was impressed with my hp figure, he said most bone stockers he runs typically are ~160hp peak.

I'll probably hit up DIY Texas and use their facilities. Too difficult here at my apartment.

Very nice for a car that is essentially bone-stock. I wonder if the "higher than usual" hp figure has anything to do with the TRD intake?

I'm willing to say at least half of the "higher than usual" hp figure as you put it is due to the intake, if not most of it.

Grimmspeed showed a consistent +5hp for K&N drop-in & slight snorkel modification so +7 for the TRD would not be surprising. Congrats Turkish - always good to have a decent baseline. I am kind of afraid to ever dyno because if its subpar I would be sad all the time

Just want to say I am loving the @JPM Coachworks leather boots that I installed last week sunday. Not too often do I install something that exceeds all my expectations. To me it makes the whole interior look and feel more upscale just by swapping the boots and adding an armrest and knee pads. I was going to get all the parts I wanted in alcantara but decided at the last minute to change to leather since I saw someone else's alcanta boots and they reminded me of pajamas (my order was already in etc but JPM let me change it).

Look at how nice it matches the texture of the plastic etc! Funny thing is now next to that nice leather my stock shift knob looks like shit. (more pics of the JPM stuff on my build thread)

My new interior rule is alcantara for things pulled tight (for example I love the feel of it on the armrest and knee pads), leather for anything that has to flex and move

Yeah, the stock tune is very conservative and rich which is understandable for less failure rates on stock engines. There's a lot of room for improvement. My AFR is pretty consistent along the 12 line on WOT I think. I'll have to go look at my last log and post it. That's about all I understood from my ecutek logs, lol.
